Cancellation

CANCELLATION POLICY

-  Rights to refunds if you change or cancel your reservation are sometimes limited as we usually need to prepay some suppliers, and our negotiated rates are obtained through committing to advance payment. We strongly recommend you purchase trip insurance including trip cancellation and interruption insurance, which may reimburse you for cancellation penalties and extra trip expenses should a circumstance covered by the policy force you to cancel or interrupt your trip. In the event we cancel a trip, for any reason, all money for services described in the reserved itinerary, less airline ticket cancellation fees, will be refunded. 

-  Any cancellation by a client must be made in writing (email). The date on which the cancellation notice is received by the company or its agents will determine the applicable cancellation fee. 

-  Refund checks will normally be mailed within three weeks of cancellation, assuming we experience no difficulty or delay in receiving the corresponding refund(s) from the suppliers involved. 

-  Unless indicated otherwise at or prior to the time of reservation, the following charges per person will apply in the event of cancellation prior to arrival:

Travel Vaccines and Malaria Information

Visit a doctor 4-6weeks before your safari to get vaccines or medicines you need. Some vaccines may also be required for travel.

(a)  Routine vaccines

Recommended for all travelers. These vaccines include age-specific routine vaccines such as measles, mumps, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis(Td/Tdap), poliovirus, varicella and seasonal influenza.

(b)  Yellow Fever

A yellow fever vaccine is essential prior to your arrival in the country. Yellow fever certificates are issued once the vaccine has been administered and they are valid for 10years. It is also recommended that a hepatitis A and B, Mengitis, Tetanus and Typhoid vaccine be administered.

(c) Malaria

You will need to take prescription medicine before, during and after your trip to prevent malaria. Your doctor can help you decide which medicine is right for you, and also talk to you about other steps you can take to prevent Malaria.

(d)  Do I need to purchase a Visit to Enter Uganda?

Any person intending to enter into Uganda should do so only for lawful purposes and in accordance with national immigration laws, guidelines and formalities.
Foreign nationals intending to travel to Uganda most obtain a visa which costs $50(Single Entry tourist visa) per person either by apply online https://immigration.go.ug or on arrival at the Airport.

All travellers to the Republic of Uganda MUST have a valid Yellow Fever Immunisation card. Visa & corresponding fees

(e)  Do I need to purchase a Visit to Enter Rwanda?

Any person intending to enter into Rwanda should do so only for lawful purposes and in accordance with national immigration laws, guidelines and formalities.
Foreign nationals intending to travel to Rwanda most obtain a visa which costs $50(Single Entry tourist visa) per person either by apply online https://www.migration.gov.rw or on arrival at the Airport.

 All travellers to the Republic of Rwanda MUST have a valid Yellow Fever Immunisation card. Visa & corresponding fees

The countries that were once visa exempted are no longer exempted but rather allowed to pay visas on arrival at Kigali International Airport. These include: Germany, New Zealand, Israel, Australia, South Africa, Sweden, Uk and USA

 (f)  Do I need to purchase a Visit to Enter Kenya?

All travelers entering Kenya are required to hold a valid Travel Authorization. The eVisa is a simple process, you can apply for an online eVisa http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html. The costs for a single entry visa for Kenya is US $50 per person, plus US $1 for service charge and handling fee.

 (g)  Do I need to purchase a Visit to Enter Tanzania?

The costs for a single entry visa for Tanzania is US $50 per person https://immigration.go.tz. Visas can be obtained at any official entry point or from a Tanzanian Embassy or High Commission.

 (h)  Do I need to purchase a Visit to Enter Zimbabwe?

The costs for a single entry visa for Zimbabwe is US $55 per person issued on arrival.
